Today I worked on a create use lab using a child's doll. At first it made me laugh and I could not think of any creative uses for my doll. After brainstorming I found a creative use for the doll. I decided that I could teach my daughter Brooklyn to name parts of the body in different languages. I could put stick tabs on each body part in a foreign language. I would leave the tabs on the doll until all of the information was retained. After she learns the body parts in one language I can change the stick tabs to a new language.
The activity taught me that creativity is not something that is without effort. Thinkers must truly step back and reflect on how to implement creativity. I am glad I got a chance to get in touch with my creative side. It made me look at other things that I could put to use in a creative manner.
I found a cool video about creativity on YouTube.
Thanks for sharing the video. It is interesting content, but I love the way it looks visually and the technology/film making perspective. Such an interesting way to communicate their message.
